Governor Rick Perry of Texas: Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance Can Serve Us All Well

(Clearwisdom.net) On the occasion of the 10^th anniversary of the World Falun Dafa Day, Governor Rick Perry of the State of Texas wrote the following letter to extend greetings to everyone celebrating the anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day. He said in the letter: "The underlying principles of Falun Dafa --- truthfulness, compassion and forbearance --- can well serve us all, whatever our belief system, as we strive to improve our lives and our outlook."

As Governor of Texas, it is my pleasure to extend greetings to everyone celebrating the anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day.

The underlying principles of Falun Dafa --- truthfulness, compassion and forbearance --- can well serve us all, whatever our belief system, as we strive to improve our lives and our outlook. These principles serve to remind us of what is important in life: caring for those less fortunate, promoting honesty in all our affairs and giving of ourselves, even when it proves painful.

As such, I commend Falun Dafa practitioners as they seek to promote clear thinking, ease stress and overcome the many difficulties we encounter during our daily lives.
